Dear Parents,

 

My name is Mrs. Kelly; I will be your child's English teacher! Sterling is a very special place, and I am looking forward to a year of learning and discovery. More importantly, I am excited to work with you and your child in support of their growth and development in writing and literature.

I graduated from Wayne State University with a Master of Arts in Teaching Secondary English and English as a Second Language. When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading and making memories with my family; we love traveling and watching baseball! If I am really lucky, I get to spend time in my sewing studio making garments and creating items for my daughter.

As we do our best to continue to navigate these very uncertain times, I ask that students exercise patience, kindness, and understanding to myself and their peers. Please know that I will do my very best to support your child in every way.
